The time has come for the STRONGHOLD documentary to spread its wings and be shared with the world. I have now started shipping out the first orders, many preordered way back in May. Orders have gone to Australia, Japan, UK, the Phillipines, Canada, Germany, and of course the good ole USA. Look for some articles coming out in the media on it soon as well!

2-Disc STRONGHOLD DVD Set
As we speak, or as I write this, I am working on the EXTRAS DVD disc for the STRONGHOLD documentary. There were a lot of great edited pieces that I could not get into the main 2-hour documentary, but if you order the 2-Disc set, you'll get them all! One hour of extra material and extended wrestling matches.
The work seems to never end, but I'm having a great time putting together all of these extras. I want to be able to look back someday and enjoy them. So what are you waiting for? Order the documentary! There are like a TON of scissor holds in it.

Film Wordle
Hey, this is cool. There is an online program where you can enter a bunch of text, and it will create an image so that the size of the words is proportionate to the number of times those words are used in the text. I took all of my written narration for the STRONGHOLD documentary and created this image. Click on it to see it bigger. Looks like I used the words "wrestling" and "men" the most! Here is another. And another. The program is located at http://www.wordle.net/.

No, DO Fig-4 Your Legs!
I thought people might get a kick out of this. Today on AOL I noticed this headline and article citing "Don't cross your legs in a Fig-4." Of course they were talking about interview etiquette, not the wrestling hold. But I totally disagree with them. I think you should cross your legs like that, or sometimes outstretch them, cross the ankles, then slowly open and snap your thighs shut. All of this while looking at the hopefully male interviewer's eyes and repeating, "I REALLY hope I get this job, sir."

Time Won't Give Me Time
Well, it's been over two months since I wrote a blog entry. As you may already know, finalizing the STRONGHOLD documentary has kept me very busy. At about Christmas time, the film clocked in at 2 hours and 40 minutes. This is great if you like wrestling, but film festivals and TV would rather have a more condensed version. So for the past several weeks I have painstakingly removed, shorted, reincorporated, and rewritten a few pieces to bring it to 2 hours and 5 minutes. This is the length of Michael Moore's Sicko and Fahernheit 911.
Now I am beginning to air the film to test audiences. Just last week I watched it with my non-gay, non-wrestler roommate. I paced the kitchen out of his view while he watched it intently. Next I will pick about five wrestlers to watch it, and then some more non-wrestler, but interested men.
